Insurance and cost
Visits are billed to your insurance as medical visits through Privia Medical Group. No membership fee.
What is covered
The consult and follow-ups are standard medical visits. Hormone therapy, non-hormonal medications and vaginal estrogen are prescription benefits, usually at a normal copay; we choose the formulation your plan covers where it is clinically equivalent. DEXA, mammograms and labs are covered under your plan's preventive or diagnostic benefits.
VPMC accepts most major commercial plans, Medicare and Tricare. The current list is on vpmcwellness.com.
